She walks in serene dignity,
An aura of aristocracy;
You can almost breathe the air
Of an old forgotten age;
With self-assurance
And quiet confidence
That does not shriek
Or fight to be acknowledged;
Wisdom cloaks her,
Gives her alluring beauty,
That sets her apart,
A mystery...
Her words betray one
Who has lived and endured
The joys and sorrows of life,
Learned her lessons,grew wise;
And in spite of all,
Has not yet lost,
That childish wonder
And youthful hope;
So let the world be tempted
By the charms of youth,
I see nothing so captivating
As the dignity that age and wisdom lends.....
